Silent Springs: How Best to Perfom Environmental Assessments | DAY 1 | 5:05-6:30pm
Ann Dallman is a senior member of the technical staff in the Water Power Technologies Department at Sandia National Laboratories. Some of her recent work has focused on characterizing the wave environment at selected U.S. Wave Energy Conversion (WEC) test sites, numerical simulation of the nearshore effects of WEC arrays, and analysis of performance metrics for techno-economic device evaluation. Ann has a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and Arizona State University, respectively. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in Environmental Fluid Dynamics, focusing on multi-layered flow and turbulence in urban areas, which included experimental and numerical fluids studies.
