Tools for the Industry: Gear Them Up ! | DAY 2 | 1:30-3pm

Encarni Medina-Lopez, Research Associate in Marine Energy. She is a Civil and Environmental Engineer specialised in analytical and numerical modelling of Marine Energy Converters. After finishing her PhD, she joined the Policy and Innovation Group at the University of Edinburgh, where Encarni has been working in the development of combined techno-economic and life cycle analysis tools for ocean energy devices, as well as in the validation and application of numerical tools for array modelling. Her main research areas are numerical modelling of marine energy converters, efficiency optimization of ocean energy systems, and device-seabed interaction.
